Danielle MoinetThere are four essential things in a man’s life that he needs to keep him sane. Sports is a must, a beautiful woman, because even if they bother the hell out of us sometimes, we still can’t live without them. Another is food, and the last is some sort of hops fueled beverage. It would just be absolutely amazing if there was some sort of event that combined all four. Well now there is, and it is called the Lingerie Football League. Women in lingerie playing football; a simple yet genius creation. The lingerie league, after a couple of successful lingerie bowls, kicks off their inaugural season September 4th, when the Miami Caliente visit the Chicago Bliss.

Thanks to our good friend Danielle Moinet, Final Timeout had the pleasure of attending the Lingerie Football League Minicamp for the Chicago Bliss yesterday at the Sears Centre.  The minicamp served as an open tryout for ladies across the Chicagoland area to join the current Bliss squad.  The dozens of beautiful women that showed up had to be more than just a pretty face though. Tryout hopefuls were tested in a number of drills, including the 40 yard dash, shuttle run, and various receiving, coverage, and passing drills. (Read More)

Instant Replay Cleared For High School Basketball

When you have controversial finishes to end the high school basketball season in three states and people freak out, this is what we get.

The National Federation of High School Associations has approved the use of instant replay to review last second shot attempts and whether a shot is a 2 or 3-pointer. The only good thing about it is that it is not mandatory and individual states have the choice whether or not to fully implement the change. (Read More)

Barkley Sounds Off

Who doesn’t love Charles Barkley? He always throws in his two cents and he is never short on opinions. Two of the most recent subjects he spoke out about were about LeBron’s free agency in 2010 and the recent Auburn football coach hire.

As everyone has heard a million times, LeBron James will be a free agent in 2010. Nearly 2/3 of the NBA will be lining up for his services and they’re getting ready nearly two years in advance. Barkley did not like that one bit and thought that James should focus on the present and not worry about something too far down the road. (Read More)
