Pirates GM Explains Trade In Letter

Here’s something you never want to see your favorite team do. Pirates GM Neal Huntington wrote a letter to fans explaining the reasoning behind the trade involving star outfielder Nate McLouth to the Braves for prospects. Obviously there was disappointment for Pirates fans but trading stars for potential talent will one day bring a championship to Pittsburgh even though they haven’t made the playoffs since 1992 right?
