UNC Cruises To National Championship

It would have been a storybook ending for the state of Michigan and the city of Detroit but in the end, Michigan State just could not keep up with the high octane offense of North Carolina. UNC dominated throughout and won 89-72.
UNC put up 55 first half points and led by 21 at the half. Michigan State put small dents in that lead in the second half but every Carolina player stepped up their name and it would have been difficult for any team to beat them last night. (Read More)



After one of the best weekends in all of sports, we have gone from 64 teams all the way down to 16 after the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournament. No major surprises with the exception of 12-seed Arizona. The Tournament will pick up again on Thursday with these matchups.
While trying to fill out my bracket I have had a very tough time. This has to be one of the best put together brackets that I can remember, and because of this it is very hard to pick these tough match-ups. I have quite a few picks that might deem me a raving loon, but I have a pretty solid foundation for them. That being said, I will share with you my thoughts on this years NCAA tournament and some of the more intriguing match-ups. I am going to start with the first round games and go through all the brackets and then come back around for potential 2nd, 3rd, and so on.
