Their reputation for failure is simply astonishing and every little thing is magnified to the fullest extent. In what was one of the best sports books I’ve ever read, Moneyball would be an equally great movie. Instead a rewritten script has delayed the shooting of the film, which would star Brad Pitt. The book was written by Michael Lewis and details the career of A’s general manager Billy Beane, both as a player and exectutive. Sony better get their act together and make this happen. [
